Weekly Progress Report. A nice way to improve parent-school communication - the parents initial the page each week and return it. Add to student file to discuss at report card conference time. Looks like it would be a quick and easy checklist to complete each week. Concerned about the paper not being returned each week? My students have a communication duo-tang that goes from home to school each day, so I will attach the progress report in there to keep it from getting lost!

Good Idea to put in take home folder. Also, good documentation for parents to be aware of what to expect on the report cards for behavior and effort! But, filling this out every week for all kids will take a lot of time. Probably a better idea to fill them out when it's needed - e.g. if a student has been acting out in class, has been fighting in the playground, has improved a lot or is doing very well. :)
