To do on the first day of school. Change the questions to be used in high school. "What do you want to learn?" "What do you need to work on?" "How can I help you succeed" "Set three goals for yourself." etc... Keep in the classroom year-round as a reminder to students.
Sometimes the oddest things inspire the most engaging projects. :) This ad (of all things) made me think of artist Kit Williams who once used animal shapes to paint portraits of their environments from their perspectives. This became the inspiration for our "Science" *ahem* and art project...all because of a car ad *shakes head*
Inchyra Blue. This colour was first used at the classic Georgian Inchyra House to work with moody Scottish skies. Such is the magic of our colours, this aged blue grey, can read more grey, blue or even green depending on the light. A great alternative to charcoal, use it to inject a hint of colour into a super contemporary home, or create a moody feel by combining it with Black Blue or Vardo.
This photo from indigitec.com is a chart of a bunch of useful scales. It demonstrates my need for mastery. I've been playing guitar for almost 8 years now, but it's a hobby that requires constant practice and dedication. The photo reminds me to practice and also provides some useful information.
