Before you start criticizing, judging, saying "If I were them..", and condoning others' choices, think for a moment how little, if anything, you know about that person, or what they went through, and what brought them to be in that stage of life. When you have to pretend to care about the unsolicited advice you were just given... If it keeps happening it just gets more annoying that person thinks you don't have a brain apparently to make your own decisions. What really gets me is the fact they think you haven't already done or thought what their suggesting you do.
