I love the use of technology on this image. The background is very plain and there's a clear lack of cover lines so the focus is on what is going on in the image. Although I think this would be very hard to re-create, it would look very artistic.

I like the way the words 'Ink and colour' are split up so are not all on one line, which makes the page more visually interesting. I also like the simplistic white typography and the spacing out of the letters.

Interesting conceptual use of typography. Set vertically with red highlight and placed over the person's eye, it functions pictographically as dripping blood, with the white highlighted text as a needle. Art-historically, it visually relates to El Lissitzky's "Beat the Whites with the Red Wedge".
