How simple it is for kids to understand what is is to be transgender. Without making it sexual or about parts...

I love you no matter if you're straight, cisgender, gay, transgender, male, female, bigender, bisexual, Pansexual, asexual, polysexual, pangender, genderfluid, agender, or anything else Just give me your pronoun preference and I'll do my best :)

I wish stuff like this would happen to me when I get misgendered. Sadly, most of my friends won't use my pronouns (they forget and I'm too nervous to correct them.) Only two people (my best friend and my ex-girlfriend who I'm still good friends with) actually use my chosen name and pronouns. I love those two to death.

that last one is so important "not having the parts" does not mean the person isn't the gender they identify as

STOP this madness of needing to label or forcibly marginalize others with binary ignorance. Each and every one of us has the right to BE who we are and proudly identify OURSELVES as such. We are ALL precious... lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, agender, queer, pansexual, intersex, asexual, straight, ally, questioning... and everyone else. EVERYONE.

I remember showing this picture to my friend and saying to her that this is how I felt about myself. she was the first person I came out to so this picture feels so important to me.
