Texas Tornado Cake

Texas Tornado Cake ~ It is a copycat recipe based on a popular dessert served at Duff’s Famous Smorgasbord buffet-style restaurants during the 1980’s and 1990’s... It’s a sweet and super moist cake that is packed with fruit and topped with a walnut and coconut icing!

Texas Tornado Cake: same recipe my Mom made ALL the time in the 1970's, but called it "Fruit Cocktail Cake" ... frosting is the best!!! coconut & nuts, YUMMY~lb

Texas Tornado Cake ~ What a delicious and easy sheet cake to make! This Cake is made with a can of fruit cocktail in the batter, then before you bake the cake you sprinkle a streusel topping with nuts over the top. After the cake comes out of the oven you add a boiled coconut topping and pour it on the cake while hot. Oh, soooo scrumptious! This wonderfully quick and easy recipe is also quite economical as you get 15 or so servings out of the cake for less than $10

Amateur cameraman captures stunning glowing cloud in the skies over Russia

Lenticular cloud, Russia. Captured just at the right moment, when the sun is directly striking the bottom of the cloud and light is refracted through the top of the cloud. It gives an amazing two-tone effect. 'I just learned that this is a hydrogen bomb building a mushroom cloud. Destruction has its short moments of beauty too..'
