The Wounded Knee medals of honor should be rescinded

297 Sioux Indians at Wounded Knee Creek were murdered by federal agents and members of the 7th Cavalry who had come to confiscate their firearms, after the majority of the Sioux had peacefully turned in their firearms they were massacred.

Short Bull-Was a Sioux Indian (c 1845 - 1915) a member of the Sioux tribe, was born about 1845. He was a warrior who fought at the Battle of the Little Big Horn, and a medicine man who brought the Ghost Dance religion to the Lakotas. After the murder of Sitting Bull,Short Bull was imprisoned at Fort Sheridan, Illinois. In 1891 Short Bull was released from custody and was permitted to join Bill Cody and his Wild West Show. Short Bull died on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota in 1915.
