#45 - The Band were four-fifths Canadian – drummer Levon Helm was from Arkansas – but their second album is all American. Guitarist Robbie Robertson's songs vividly evoke the country's pioneer age ("Across the Great Divide") and the Civil War ("The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down"), while reflecting the fractured state of the nation in the 1960s. http://www.jeffreymarkell.com

Adam and the Ants was a new wave band during the late 1970s and early 1980s. It was one of the bands at the time that marked the transition from the ’70s punk rock era to the new-wave post punk-music era. Although the band started off with a punk-influenced sound, it soon moved on to New Wave motivated by new sources such as the drum-heavy “Burundi Beat” heard on “Dog Eat Dog”.

I like the font for the kooks logo. I like it because it's simple, easy to read and looks professional and minimalistic. This will help inspire my masthead or contents page title font.
