The first group of Chinese tourists to visit Thailand on a cruise along the Mekong River travelled aboard two Chinese boats (“Yenta 7” and “Yenta 8”) and one Thai boat (“Kasalongkham”) that departed the Guan Lei port in China's Yunnan province. #chinesetourist #mekongriver

Maya Bay, Krabi, Thailand. Krabi lies just a 45-minute boat ride across the Andaman Sea from Phuket. But you can spare yourself the trip to Phuket — plenty of riches lie here, and you don’t have to fight the crowds to enjoy them. Krabi sits next to the Mu Koh Lanta National Park, a prime spot for hiking, rock climbing and elephant trekking. -there are about 130 pristine islands nearby that are ripe for exploration and virtually undeveloped save for a few ancient monasteries.

One of my all time favorite Thai boat noodle places was right down the street from where I used to live in Bangkok on Soi 31 called "Noodern". I hope it's still there with that incredibly satisfying "Guay Tiew".

Thai Boat Noodles | Traditionally sold by boat vendors that floated along Bangkok’s canals and rivers, hence the name, these noodles are often bought rather than made at home, due to the many different elements that go into the dish. But if you have the time, the effort is definitely worth it. | Recipe From The Feast
