As you drive around America crossing the various dividing lines of the 48 contiguous states, many of them can go unnoticed but that certainly isn’t true as you pass between Arkansas and Texas. The wonderfully named town of Texarkana is the perfect location to divide these two states and we decided to take some time here to explore the history of this town.
The Texarkana Post Office is the only post office that straddles two states, earning it a place on Travel + Leisure's list of America's Quirkiest Post Offices! Get your picture taken at the entrance with one foot in each state, in front of the prominent “State Line” sign.
