Tenryu-ji Temple (天龍寺)

Tenryu-ji temple, Kyoto, Japan. These beautiful gardens surrounding the temple are well worth the price of admission. There are paths and steps wandering around, lots of plants and a very large pond with Koi. It is a welcome relief from the heat and the crowds. Also visit the Bamboo Grove road in the vicinity and then walk along the river.
