The Great Britain women’s national hockey team represents Great Britain in international field hockey tournaments, and memorably took gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil. Here some members of the GB team got together at the Super 6s National Indoor Hockey Finals at the SSE Arena in Wembley, London, last month, to post this great ‘office selfie’—well, it is their workplace, after all!—to Twitter.
British show jumper Nick Skelton has become Britain's second-oldest Olympic gold medallist in his seventh Games. The 58-year-old, who initially retired 16 years ago after breaking his neck in two places, claimed individual gold after a six-way jump-off. It is Britain's first individual show jumping medal since Anne Moore's silver in 1972, and adds to Skelton's gold in the team event at London 2012.
