Cold Dark Matter: An Exploded View by Cornelia Parker. Saw this at The Tate Modern, London and completely fell in love with it. There was so much to see in the actual exhibit and the single lightbulb lighting the room made it almost feel magical with all the shadows on the walls.

Adrian Gwillym has worked in Southwark since 1973, creating costumes for theatre, TV and film. For #MyTateModern he remembers the transformation of the building in 2000: "I remember just before the gallery opened, I was sitting outside at a bar down by Blackfriars Bridge, and I saw a large box being delivered by helicopter. It was amazing because we all heard this helicopter and watched as it lowered this great big square thing onto the top of the chimney of Tate Modern. We saw it landing…

Amazing - a stunning and intellectually fascinating art installation at Tate Modern in London - which is also an incredible aid project to provide ultra-low-cost, high reliability solar-powered lighting to off-grid people all over the globe, instead of wasteful kerosene lamps. On the tech front: the battery & controller & light source are set up to provide a 1 for 1 charge to illuminance time ratio - 4 hours of daylight = 4 hours max illumination afterwards. Brilliant, beautiful…

An upcoming exhibition dubbed 'Olafur Eliasson: Little Sun at Tate Modern' forces visitors to view works of art with only a little solar lamp called the 'Little Sun' to illuminate the works. The project kicks off on July 28 after normal museum hours where the lights are extinguished and everyone's given little lamps to wander around the galleries.

The picture above shows the Tate Modern, where chef, Nathan Laity, worked. However, this chef died in his sleep because of, what his family says, was the long hours he would work everyday to be the best chef he could be. Laity worked for 14 hours for 27 straight days, and this is not uncommon for chefs. Source: http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/wordofmouth/2010/mar/26/death-nathan-laity-restaurants-chefs
