Storyboards for Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds. This is very cool - the still photos match the storyboard drawings. Woman is nearly always central and gives a balanced picture plane, depicting some calm. Birds are not evil yet, only one still shows them in black contrast to background.

I imagine the animation (or film in this case) to be fast-paced in this particular scene. This is just an assumption taken from the lines that are used to show the direction of travel, I imagine that if they were travelling slowly, there wouldn't be as many lines.
