Queen Letizia of Spain wows at military awards

6 January 2017 - The parade, which was combined w/ a reception at the Palacio Real, was held to mark Epiphany - a national holiday in Spain | Considered almost as important as Christmas Day itself, Epiphany marks the moment when baby Jesus, at just a few days old, was seen for the 1st time by the Magi or Three Kings.

Santander is the capital of Cantabria. It features a small historic center and a buch of beaches on the Cantabrian sea. Its most famous tourist attraction is the Magdalena Palace which was used as a summer getaway by the 19th-century Spanish royalty.

Anne Boleyn -married King Henry the Eighth in 1533. The marriage only lasted three years and she was beheaded in 1536 by a single swift stroke administered by an expert swordsman brought over from Calais rather than by the usual blunter method.
