Before the age of steam Padstow was a key port, but is now known primarily for tourism and fishing. The town boasts some great restaurants including Paul Ainsworth at No. 6, and Rick Stein's seafood restaurant (and very good fish & chip shop for a more modest outlay).

Russian: The Ruby Kokoshnik tiara - 1890 by Bolin. Created for the wife of the grandson of Tsar Nicholas I. Given to their daughter Nadejda who became the Marchioness Milford-Haven in Great Britain. Recently sold by Sarah of Milford-Haven to a Russian Businessman.
