Cornelia Sorabji (1866-1954), barrister and social reformer, she was the first female graduate from Bombay University, and in 1889 became the first woman to read law at Oxford University, and also the first Indian national to study at any British university. Her publications included India Calling (1934), India Recalled (1936) and helped edit Queen Mary's Book for India (1943)
