“Maybe you think you’ll be entitled to more happiness later by foregoing all of it now, but it doesn’t work that way. Happiness takes as much practice as unhappiness does. It’s by living that you live more. By waiting, you wait more. Every waiting day makes your life a little less. Every lonely day makes you a little smaller. Every day you put off your life makes you less capable of living it.”
The characters change and the tone of the book is much different in a good way. It's still about friendship and the magic of girlfriends, but is more mature. A great read and a great conclusion to a wonderful story.
20 books to read in your twenties. I have already read a handful of these. If you are planning to read Sisterhood everlasting, you need to read the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series first! They are great and will make Sisterhood everlasting so much better to read!
