In August 2000, Sheikh Mohammed, the owner of Dubai Millennium, challenged Michael Tabor, the owner of Montjeu, to an old-fashioned head-to-head match between the two superstar colts. However, before the race could take place, Dubai Millennium suffered a career-ending injury.
