I like this saying because it encourages that mistakes are ok to make. I expect my students to show effort in the work that they do, and mistakes are fixable and acceptable as long as they keep trying. I would put this saying on a poster (on vinyl sticker like the one here) and keep in my classroom to remind students that it is ok to make mistakes.

Maths Working Wall for Year 4 Top Set. Grid Method and Formal Written Multiplication. These flip charts are straight from my lesson, the students are familiar with them as I made them with them, for them. A great way to get a maths display up with minimal effort for maximum effect! Headings are done on coloured card and took about 5 minutes. Differentiation means that students can have a try at the tricker sums and have a model ready.
