This fabric treatment is a lot like scoring paper to get the right folds. However, in this particular design, the use of "scoring" is not to create a fold line but to make a design detail in an otherwise plain fabric.
A perfect 10 for the Hubble Space Telescope! This once-in-a-lifetime image shows a pair of gravitationally interacting galaxies called Arp 147.
