Students created dream jars from Roald Dahl's story "The BFG." This teacher has created a bookshelf bulletin board display, along with a large drawing of the BFG, to showcase her students' dream jar projects.
Parent/ Teacher Conferences ✔️ put this out for the parents. It was so cute having the kids write about what they're proud of their learning so far (yesterday) and the parent comments added today are even sweeter!
Rocket Aspirations. On transition day I got children to write on rocket about their hopes and targets for the coming year. They stuck on crepe paper for the fire and I added their photos to make it look as though they were looking out the window of the rocket. When backed on black paper it makes a very attractive display.
Dream Jars. these could be just a nice activity when discussing hopes and dreams, it could be something you use during discussions of the future or a nice little activity to go with the story of the BFG.
