Many religious people will not see it like this, but I've talked to people who grew up with organized religion; and their minds aren't only closed, but sealed and padlocked to new ideas and often times, common sense. Facts and science do matter.
People whose daily lives are empty and colorless are readily religious. This is comprehensible and pardonable, but they have no right to demand that others, whose daily lives are not empty and colorless, should be religious also. ~ Neitzsche
