I said something similar today when it dawned on me that the UK gov WANTS people to get drugged up and sh!itfaced, no matter how much they pretend to fight drug abuse and alcohol- related illness. Because junkies only care about the next fix, not about how much they are being wronged.

Add to that school health care and lunch provided everyday, which covers about a third of the daily nutritional need. #Finland #child #poverty. Finland treats minors like people who deserve to be given a fair chance at life, imagine that.

and the little that we have, is little according to us, in our world, our culture. for many, the little we have, would astound them if it were theirs. we often -- this includes me -- fail to remember that. and tell ourselves a story about how hard our lives are ... and our hard lives, are a dream come true to most people in this world. i'm not sure why it's so hard to remember this, to realize, understand this. and live from that place every day. but something in us makes it very difficult.
