From the Queen Mary Psalter of 1310-20, illumination to Psalm 109 (AV 110). Figures above (one in a tree) cast down palms as Christ enters Jerusalem, and a man lays down his garment in the road for Christ to ride over. Only two disciples are shown. In the initial Father and Son are seated, holding orbs, with the dove of the Holy Spirit between them. Below, St Stephen is shown preaching.
