Prosthetic legs are becoming more sophisticated every year. They are not all designed to be used in shower. Lytra is a prosthetic leg that makes it easier for amputees to shower and wash their residual limb. Lytra is made from acrylic sheets. Its height can be adjusted to the level of amputation.
Crystalized leg created by Sophie de Oliveira Barata and photographed by Omkaar Kotedia. This prosthetic is part of The Alternative Limb Project, and if ever I found myself needing one, I think I'd definitely look at one of these. Utterly beautiful and unapologetic for being a prosthetic, which I really like.
