This unique Memorial to Diana, Princess of Wales was opened by Her Majesty The Queen on 6th July 2004. The design aims to reflect Diana's life, water flows from the highest point in two directions as it cascades, swirls and bubbles before meeting in a calm pool at the bottom. The water is constantly being refreshed and is drawn from London's water table.
HYDE PARK MEMORIAL FOUNTAIN: Queen Elizabeth unveiled an oval waterway in London's Hyde Park to commemorate Diana in July 2004. "Of course there were difficult times, but memories mellow with the passing of the years," the Queen said, adding that the fountain was a "highly original memorial, which captures something of the essence of a remarkable human being."
