This "Worry Tree" is a poster I would love to hang in my classroom. It is a resource I think students could refer to, when needed, to help them regulate their emotions and deal with their "problems" in an effective way. Eventually, they will be able to follow this process on their own, and develop their emotional competence - which is an important skill that underlies positive mental health (Reinke et al., 2011).
Reflect on behaviour in lessons - Proforma to help you reflect behaviour when lessons did not meet your standards. Originally made to help our School Direct trainees plan what they will do - but useful for everyone.
Find Someone Who... A great resource to use as an ice breaker; ideal for a new tutor group. This encourages students to get up and about communicating with others to extract information and find things in common, breaking the ice and begin bonding with one another! TES Teaching Resources
