I was 19yrs when I was diagnosed with my first autoimmune disease, just a girl. Now I am a middle aged woman with 9 autoimmune diseases and 30 chronic health conditions. I use a power wheelchair 90 percent of the time. So take a moment and look beyond the smile. She is a survivor! #crohns #crohnsdisease
Ableism - and stop using the motorized carts at stores out of laziness or because you think it's funny. People actually need them. And if someone doesn't "look" disabled, just keep your mouth shut. Not every disability is obvious.
