With the upcoming presidential election there will be a spike in political fashion. People love to express themselves through fashion, and in this case they may be showing their values through their attire. Whether it is a somewhat neutral t shirt like the pinned image, or a pro planned parenthood tshirt, people love to show they're emotions and opinions through fashion. Delaney Keller
Emmeline Pankhurst After her husband died in 1898, Pankhurst founded the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU), an all-women suffrage advocacy organisation dedicated to "deeds, not words."The group placed itself separately from–and often in opposition to–political parties. Pankhurst, her daughters, and other WSPU activists were sentenced to repeated prison sentences, where they staged hunger strikes to secure better conditions

This leaflet advertises a pro-suffrage demonstration to be held on 24 November in the Bow Palace, Bow Road. Speakers included Emmeline Pankhurst and George Lansbury, the Labour Party member of parliament for Bow and Bromley, who was a staunch supporter of women's suffrage. The bill is printed in the purple, white and green colours of the Women's Social and Political Union.
