// Bombay potato & spinach pie. I REALLY liked this. I didn't follow the recipe exactly--added peas and amchoor powder, maybe a few other things--but it was a great savory pie and I see lots of interesting variations in the future.
This went down a treat. At first I thought I was pushing it with spring onion and mustard but neither overpowered the dish. It's worth getting Maris Piper potatoes instead of plain white potatoes for a lovely fluffy topping. Real comfort food and a blast of Omega 3 too.
Cock-a-Leekie pot pie. You can top with mash or you could top with puff pastry. If you're not a parsnip fan you could sub turnip, tattie, carrot, or other root vege. NOTE: corn flour = American corn starch and you can sub sour cream for creme fraiche. This recipe is an excellent base upon which to experiment.
