There's a difference between wanting to make people happy and going too far trying to please people. Here's how you can stop being a people-pleaser.

Don't always be a people pleaser.

When you're a people pleaser, or struggle with self-esteem, it's easy to get in the habit of feeling like you have to impress others, prove your worth, or keep working to have certain people in your life. The good news is once you break out of unhealthy habits, and let go of all those efforts, the right people will walk into your life...and the ones who appreciated you all along will stay.

Life change- not going to tolerate rude abusive people anymore!!! I am worth far more than their worthless, trashy, useless words!!! It's too bad some people have to bully and put other people down just so they can feel better about themselves. PATHETIC!!!!! I am learning to not be such a people pleaser anymore. Rude people are toxic, and I have no room for them in my life!

Very true. You just can't make everyone happy. You can't encourage people if you aren't beaming happiness from within you.
