Malcolm T. Liepke. Malcolm T Liepke (born 1953) is an American painter born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, but dropped out after a year and a half. He moved to New York and began studying on his own artists such as John Singer Sargent, Edgar Degas, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Diego Velázquez, James McNeill Whistler and Édouard Vuillard. In turn, his style has been imitated by others, notably Michael Carson and Liepke.
Corita Kent, also known as Sister Mary Corita Kent, was an artist and an educator who worked in Los Angeles and Boston. A Sister of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, she was the head of the Art Department at Immaculate Heart College until 1968.
