Breaking Barriers, 2010 (Image copyright Colchester + Ipswich Museums)    The “Breaking Barriers” temporary exhibition was devised by Parliamentary Outreach, in partnership with Essex Libraries and several Essex Museums. Colchester and Ipswich Museums worked in partnership with Colchester Library to engage with several local groups including the Co-Op Ladies Group and the Abbots Activity Centre, exploring the history of the local suffrage movement.
