Grand Mosque of Paris, Paris, France. The Grande Mosquée de Paris is located in the 5th arrondissement and is one of the largest mosques in France. Built in Neo-Mudéjar style, the mosque was founded in 1926 as a token of gratitude, after WWI, to the Muslim tirailleurs (or "shooting skirmishers") from France's colonial empire.
