_Elle_ has released a fully embroidered cover for its September issue as part of the magazine’s redesign. Created by Claire Barrett, founder of London-based embroidery company "Hawthorne & Heaney":http://www.londonhandembroidery.com/, the magazine cover is a minimal ivory-white fabric with stitched logo. The artwork is simply a sewn-on patch, similar to a clothing label, stating “Now what?” in embroidered capitalised type alongside the bar code.
