Pablo Picasso: The Old Guitarist, 1903 I think the artwork is about a oldman in a corner playing his guitar, feeling sorrow. He has used paint to make up this piece of work. This was done when he was going through a bad time in life so he painted everything in cold, sad colours to express his feelings. I like this because he is showing his true feeling through hi work.

Self Portrait by Pablo Picasso, a Spanish painter and co-founder of the Cubist movement who lived between 1881 and 1973. The portrait of a young man who seems old beyond his years. He is, without doubt, parodying one of Van Gogh's self-portraits with this air of austerity and a heightened sense of the macabre.

Pablo Picasso, "Chanel in blue" - The Blue Period (Spanish: Período Azul) is a term used to define the works produced by Spanish painter Pablo Picasso between 1901 and 1904 when he painted essentially monochromatic paintings in shades of blue and blue-green, only occasionally warmed by other colors. These somber works, inspired by Spain and painted in Barcelona and Paris, are now some of his most popular works, although he had difficulty selling them at the time.
