Gregory Peck, winner of the Best Actor Oscar (To Kill a Mockingbird, 1962). One of the world's most popular film stars from the 1940s--1960s, Peck is best known for his role as Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird. He had also been nominated for a Best Actor Oscar four previous times before winning in 1963. Peck continued his film career until the late 1970s, starring in The Boys from Brazil in 1978.
