Lichtenberg-Mayer Colour Triangle variation, Remake using Mayers original idea of 12+1 chambers Art Print by Coloria.net
The Lichtenberg-Mayer Colour Triangle was published originally in the book Tobiae Mayeri: Opera inedita, Georg Christoph Lichtenberg. Göttingen, 1775, plate III. The original triangle was made by Georg Christoph Lichtenberg, based on the idea Tobias Mayer; however Lichtenberg's replication of the triangle has only seven chambers per side, when Mayer originally suggested 12 (+1): as Lichtenberg complained of the difficulties of creating a color reproduction according to Mayer's instructions.

Some of the forms she constructs with heat-reactive base reference antique lace designs influenced by organic structures.
