The Georgia O'Keeffe Home & Studio is a site significant for its architecture and its association with artist Georgia O'Keeffe, who purchased the Abiquiu, New Mexico property from the Catholic Archdiocese of Santa Fe in 1945, after attempting to buy it for 10 years. The house in Abiquiu became her primary residence until 1984, when she moved to Santa Fe two years prior to her death at age 98.
