Staten Island Ferry ~ Everyone wants to see the Statue of Liberty. Ferry tours there start at $12. But the Staten Island Ferry for commuters, cutting across the New York Harbor, is absolutely free and has long held the distinction as the single greatest free attraction on the Eastern Seaboard. Around since 1905, the ferry carries 19 million across the harbor each year. Technically for transport in between Staten Island and Manhattan, most visitors simply hop back on to get back to New York.

The first public mention of an alleged flight of a Ju 390 to North America appeared in a letter published in the November 1955 issue of the British magazine RAF Flying Review, of which aviation writer William Green was an editor. Clare Farrell says her mission now is to share her daughter's love for life with others. She says her daughter believed a pregnancy may be unplanned or inconvenient or met with obstacles, but a child is never a mistake. On Jan. 25, Farrell plans to fulfill her daughter's dream by taking her son to the March for Life in Washington, DC. A breakfast was held today to pay for their transportation, and Clare Farrell was given the support of some of her late daughter's childhood friends.
