The White Cliffs of Dover

White Cliffs of Dover. Our tips for 25 fun things to do in England: Get there via Southeastern train from Kings Cross, 2 hours from £40 return. Have a bite at the adorable Pines Garden Tea Room. Make sure to see Deal Castle. Available to explore top to bottom, the castle also links to a cycling path that runs straight to the seaside. Grab a pint at Rack of Ale, Dover's first micro pub. Careful though, this quirky haunt enforces a phones off policy!

Day Five: Favorite Location. As others have already said, I have to go with Sherwood Forest Nottingham. Though I have a lot of good memories from the halls of Nottingham castle (both in BBC Robin Hood and later in BBC Merlin). The Forest is amazing! I love all of the traps they can set up, too. :)

Lustleigh, Devon Hidden in a wooded combe, this film-set-perfect village is one of Dartmoor’s most lovingly maintained, according to Suzy Bennett. Its thatched cottages are grouped around a 13th-century church, with the Primrose Tea Rooms to one side and village shop to the other. The rural idyll is completed by the cricket pitch, communal apple orchard and a friendly pub serving real ales and great food ( thecleavelustleigh.com primrosetearooms.co.uk).
