I believe this would inspire Emily because of the star in the middle and things coming out of each side. There is different color (complementary) that play well with each other, giving it a hot and cold feel. Lastly, it is central with a piece that stands out and grabs lots of attention.

Then to have a deeper depth of what is trying to be convey and incorporated by the use of the paint with the techniques being able to enforce the concepts.
