The set features a pile of debris – everything from rubbish bags and crushed car parts to broken fairground horses and castaway chairs . The clothes themselves draw on haute couture signatures – Dior’s iconic hounds-tooth check, the elegance of Audrey Hepburn in Givenchy – and takes them apart at the seams.
A dress from Spring/Summer 2008 "La Dame Bleue" shows the bird designs tht inspired McQueen. He has made a beautiful cape that resemble an extended set of wings. I could perhaps incorporate some of the feathers that I made into the final outcome.
