Marilyn Monroe in Nevada on the set of "The Misfits", the last film that she completed. It's based on a short story that her husband Arthur Miller had developed into a screenplay with the idea of providing her with a role in a drama. Directed by John Huston, it was filmed in the Nevada desert, and focused on the friendship between a recently divorced woman and three aging cowboys. Filming was between July and November 1960.
