The Negro Project was initiated in 1939 by Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood and a eugenist. Negative eugenics focused on preventing the birth of those it considered inferior or unfit. This was the foundation of Sanger’s Birth Control Policy and advocated throughout her writings. Today, 40% of abortions in the US are black babies. The US black population is 13%. 79% of PP abortion clinics are located in minority communities.
