If you love Chip and Joanna Gaines as much as we do, seeing glimpses of their stunning farmhouse on HGTV's Fixer Upper, has most likely left you wanting more. Their 1,700-square-foot Victorian home sits on 40 beautiful acres in Crawford, Texas, a suburb of Waco. When the couple isn't busy transforming fixer uppers for clients or working on exciting new projects for their business, this is the haven they call their own.
The popularity of HGTV's "Fixer Upper" has made stars of its stars of husband and wife team Chip and Joanna Gaines and an unlikely new vacation destination out of its sleepy hometown, Waco, Texas. On a spring break road trip with his super fan wife (alright, he's kind of a super fan himself), our writer stopped by the Gaines' Magnolia Market and silo grounds for some shopping. Here's what they learned.
Visit the Garden ~oanna's vision was that the garden would be a space where the family can explore together and learn the lessons of the garden. There's a wooden teepee to adventure under, beds filled with seasonal produce and flowers, and our garden shop, Magnolia Seed and Supply. This little shop sells gardening tools, flower-growing kits for the kiddos, fairy garden supplies, and unique vessels to plant in. We hope you leave feeling refreshed and inspired to grow in your own soil!
