Lockheed P-38 Lightning: A US Air Force (USAF) A-10 Thunderbolt attack aircraft (left) piloted by Captain (CPT) Matt Kouchoukos flies formation with a vintage P-38 Lightning fighter aircraft named "Glacier Girl," piloted by Steve Hinton was dug out from 268-feet of ice in Eastern Greenland in 1992. Both aircraft are flying in the Heritage Flight which is part of the Airpower over Hampton Roads show at Langley Air Force Base (AFB), Virginia (VA).
