Chinese Premier Li Keqiang paid an official visit to Cuba on Sept. 24-26. During the visit, Li Keqiang laid a wreath to the monument of Cuban national hero Jose Marti. Cuban President Raul Castro held a welcoming ceremony for Li. The two leaders held talks and witnessed the signing of bilateral cooperative agreements. Along with Cuban leaders, Li watched "Night of Havana" performance under the theme of China and Cuba with Joined Hands -- Year of China-Latin America Cultural Exchange.
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang visited Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro on Sunday local time and the two exchanged views on bilateral ties, world peace, regional hotspot issues, food security and a wide range of other issues of common concern. Li first conveyed the cordial greetings and good wishes from President Xi Jinping, other Chinese leaders and the Chinese people to Castro and extended congratulations to Castro for his 90th birthday.
