#Astronomy: An international team of astronomers, led by David Sobral from Leinden University of the Netherlands used three telescopes located across the globe to study the trends in star formation, from the earliest stars that made up the first galaxies in the universe, up until now. Pieterskerk, Leiden Prof. mr Gerlacus Scheltinga was born in Leeuwarden, Friesland in 1708, studied law at the Franeker and Leiden Universities. At the latter he taught law from 1738 to 1765. He died February 9th 1765 and was buried in the Pieterskerk , February 16th 1765.
